Does CodePipeline include a free tier?

Yes. AWS includes one free active V1 pipeline per month and 100 free V2 action execution minutes per month per account. This calculator lets you toggle those shared allowances on or off.

How does the V1 30-day trial affect this calculator?

V1 pipelines are free for the first 30 days after creation. This calculator only asks for active V1 pipelines that are already beyond that window, so new pipelines still in trial should be left out of the V1 count.
