Does AWS Transfer Family charge for each protocol on an endpoint?
Yes. AWS bills each enabled protocol on each server endpoint by the hour. An endpoint with SFTP and FTPS enabled creates 2 protocol-endpoint hourly charges.
How does AWS price AS2 messages larger than 50 MB?
AWS applies the qualifying inbound or outbound tier for every 50 MB chunk and rounds the chunk count down. A 225 MB message uses 4 billable 50 MB units.
Are SFTP connector calls and connector data billed separately?
Yes. Connector operations use per-call meters, while data sent and retrieved uses per-GB meters. A file transfer can create both charges.
What does this Transfer Family calculator exclude?
