AWS Service Catalog charges per API call. Each account and region includes 1,000 Service Catalog API calls per month at no charge. Calls above that free tier are billed using the regional per-call rate published by AWS.

What AppRegistry actions are billed?

AppRegistry charges apply to attribute group management API actions. Creating applications, associating resources, and applying or syncing application tags remain free, while billed AppRegistry API calls also receive a separate 1,000 calls per month free tier in each account and region.
